Please read the important information that is coming up for our Club. With the Holidays approaching, many of our annual service projects will need support, mostly in the form of volunteers!
In addition to reading, please check out the calendar, so you can place these events on your personal calendar to save the dates, especially the First Monday meal, which has been on the calendar since the spring.
As always, please share information to Secretary Sarah to be included in these bulletins. The hope is that the bulletins can streamline information and meetings, but they will only be efficient if people share the information. Please share information for next bulletin by November 10.
  • Dues are now, well, past due. Please get your payment to Steve ASAP or contact him if you are not renewing or are in need of financial support. Remember we do have the opportunity to "give of your time" if money is tight. We need our lists updated so we pay Rotary International for the correct number of members.
  • Little Free Libraries Update
    • Bob is working on logistics for installing the two libraries purchased for with our District Grant money.
  • Thanksgiving Food Donations for The Open Link
    • Just a reminder that donations to stock the food pantry at The Open Link will be collected at our regular meeting on November 1st or may be dropped off to Michele's porch no later than November 2nd. An email was sent with a list of requested items.
  • Cookbooks: The holiday season is upon us!  Maybe you need a hostess gift to take to a holiday meal?  Or perhaps add a cookie cutter or wooden spoon and you have an easy gift for a neighbor, coach or teacher!  If you'd like to order any cookbooks for the gift-giving season, please let Michele know no later than November 3 so we can plan accordingly for a reorder.  Many thanks to members who have already supported this fundraiser!

  • Upcoming Holiday Events and Information
    • December 4: First Monday Meal
      • We are hosting the first Monday meal on December 4th at Pennsburg UCC church. This will be our first time serving a meal sit down style since the pandemic so we will really need good volunteer support. Mark your calendars and watch for more details. If you are interested in helping with the planning and shopping in advance of the event, please reach out to Lori or Michele to be included in the planning meeting via Zoom.
    • December 15 & 16: Toys for Tots
      • Mark your calendars and watch for details from Lori Ritting closer to the event. Our club will again provide volunteer support to sort toys on Friday, December 15th and distribute toys on Saturday, December 16th.
    • Adopt-a-Family & Toy Donations
      • Watch for email from Michele & Lori for this popular donation event with TOL and local families in need.
