Take advantage of the 10% discount extension to January 31, 2024. Total ticket sales are limited to 150. Your ticket helps to fund the operational costs of the STEM YEA program for middle schoolers, especially under-resourced students, to make it affordable for all clubs to sponsor students. The ticket entitles you to a fun evening including hors de oeuvres, drink, dinner and a lottery ticket with a chance to win one of numerous prizes totaling $5000 when

Our guest speaker is Laura McBride, PhD, a chemist and specialist in air quality and climate modeling. She joined the faculty of Albright College in 2022 as Assistant Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry. Laura will tell us about her academic journey what led her to pursue a STEM career. Laura says, "I decided to pursue STEM when I discovered chemistry in high school and learned in college how I could use chemistry through the study of climate science to understand the impact humans are having on the environment."
