04 Jul 2025 Hometown 4th of July Celebration Jul 04, 2025 5:00 AM - Jul 05, 2025 Please RSVP whether you are attending or not for this event regardless of the time of day you may be available. If you have spouse/family/friend that can help, please sign them up as well. As we discuss what we are going to do for the day and as it gets closer, I will put together a schedule signup and send it out. At this point, I am just trying to see how many people we will have to help that day so we can discuss specifics at the meetings (first of which is this Wednesday evening on Zoom). One item we need to decide on is the breakfast option. Last year we had Doughlicious there selling items and had the food truck add some breakfast sandwiches. Both did well and that was going to be the plan again this year. However, as many of you may know, Doughlicious decided to close up a few months ago so that option is now off the table.

01 Aug 2025 August First Friday Aug 01, 2025 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM At this event, we'll be selling cups of ice cream for $5. Much of the ice cream will be pre-scooped and the rest will be scooped per order. Please consider volunteering a shift, this is not only good exposure for our club but a mini-fundraiser, too. Thanks.
06 Aug 2025 Rotary Fun Night at The IronPigs Aug 06, 2025 5:30 PM - 10:30 PM Please join us for our Annual Rotary Fun Night at The IronPigs as they take on the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (Yankees). Tickets are $35 per person and include the Homeplate Buffet package in the climate controlled room behind our seats (which again will be near home plate). Please feel free to bring family/friends/coworkers.

03 Oct 2025 October First Friday event Oct 03, 2025 4:30 PM - 7:30 PM Our club will have a table at the October First Friday event. Thanks to Dan Rhoads for taking the lead on this one. The event is from 5-730 PM (earlier than usual due to daylight hours). Volunteer shifts are one hour shifts so you will have time to enjoy the event outside of your volunteer shift. We'll be promoting the Halloween decorating contest and handing out candy so feel free to come in costume if you're so inclined. Closer to the event, Dan will let everyone know the specific location of our table. Thanks for helping out!

01 Dec 2025 December 1st Monday Meal Dec 01, 2025 3:00 PM - 7:30 PM The December First Monday meal is coming up soon! We are serving a ham dinner and are preparing to serve 120 meals. We need volunteers to make it happen so please consider signing up for a shift or two. Wear a hat to work in the kitchen (so you can avoid wearing a hairnet). The event is at the Pennsburg UCC Church near the corner of Main and 8th Sts. in Pennsburg. Parking next to the building and enter the door with the ramp please. Thanks in advance for your help!
