Gloves and bags will be provided. Come with bug spray and clothes to get a little dirty as we clean up our section of 663. Meet at St. Philip Neri Church.

Feel free to bring friends or students who need volunteer hours! The more hands, the quicker it goes! We've been getting done in less than 2 hours.

More information to be posted as it gets closer, but put it on your calendar to help clean up the shelter which has served many local people during this cold winter!

Time to meet and greet the community at the May First Friday event! The event is on Friday, May 2, 2025, 5:30-8:00 PM and we'll be setting up at 5:00 PM.  Nothing to do but sign up and show up and be ready to talk to folks stopping by our table and helping kids with an easy craft. This is always a fun event, please consider signing up for an hour or two.  Thanks!

Join us for our Annual Joint Happy Hour with the Upper Perk Chamber of Commerce. Also invited to this year's Joint Happy Hour will be members of Perkasie and Harleysville Rotary Clubs.

First Friday on 6/6

I would like to start off by thanking Scott & Leanne Engle for offering to facilitate this year's changeover meeting. In the event of inclement weather, the meeting will be relocated to Valley Lock & Door, 26 E 4th St., East Greenville.

Please plan to join us for our Annual Changeover Meeting in a relaxing atmosphere picnic style, and our first true changeover in a few years (dress to be comfortable). The meeting will opened up with a brief recap by 22-25 President (Bob McCarty) followed up with induction of our 25/26 President/PE (Cathy Fitzgerald), 25/26 Secretary (Jen McCarty), Vice President (incumbent Dan Rhoads) & 25/26 Treasurer (incumbent Steve Hill) as well as acknowledgement of our 25/26 Committee Chairpersons. When all is done for the evening, 25/26 President Cathy Fitzgerald will bring the meeting to a close with the traditional ringing of the bell.

Scott & Leanne will be providing Burgers & Hot Dogs and everyone is encouraged to sign up to bring a side or dessert (someone please make deviled eggs for Cathy lol).  This will be our last meeting of the 24/25 Rotary Year and our last official club meeting prior to the Hometown 4th of July Celebration. Let's join together in friendship and fellowship while we celebrate this past Rotary Year's accomplishments, and kick off what promises to be a great future for the Rotary Club of Upper Perk moving into the 25/26 Rotary Year.

Please RSVP whether you are attending or not for this event regardless of the time of day you may be available. If you have spouse/family/friend that can help, please sign them up as well. As we discuss what we are going to do for the day and as it gets closer, I will put together a schedule signup and send it out. At this point, I am just trying to see how many people we will have to help that day so we can discuss specifics at the meetings (first of which is this Wednesday evening on Zoom). 

One item we need to decide on is the breakfast option. Last year we had Doughlicious there selling items and had the food truck add some breakfast sandwiches. Both did well and that was going to be the plan again this year. However, as many of you may know, Doughlicious decided to close up a few months ago so that option is now off the table.

Please join us to discuss the upcoming Golf Outing. This is a Zoom meeting (link to be sent later).

At this event, we'll be selling cups of ice cream for $5.  Much of the ice cream will be pre-scooped and the rest will be scooped per order.  Please consider volunteering a shift, this is not only good exposure for our club but a mini-fundraiser, too.  Thanks. 

Please join us for our Annual Rotary Fun Night at The IronPigs as they take on the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (Yankees).

Tickets are $35 per person and include the Homeplate Buffet package in the climate controlled room behind our seats (which again will be near home plate).

Please feel free to bring family/friends/coworkers. 

Our club will have a table at the October First Friday event.  Thanks to Dan Rhoads for taking the lead on this one.  

The event is from 5-730 PM (earlier than usual due to daylight hours). Volunteer shifts are one hour shifts so you will have time to enjoy the event outside of your volunteer shift.  

We'll be promoting the Halloween decorating contest and handing out candy so feel free to come in costume if you're so inclined.
